ClearShot Communications, owned by Brooke K. Dolan and David U. Lee, is a well-established tower development and ownership company with a demonstrable record of success. Formed in 1996, the company holds the distinction as one of the original privately owned tower-development companies in the U.S. and boasts 300+ tower sites in 20 states across the U.S.

Brooke K. Dolan

A longtime entrepreneur, and real estate developer, founded ClearShot Communications in 1996 and directs the development and expansion of the company’s tower assets portfolio. A large portion of the ClearShot portfolio was sold in 1997 its currently owned by publicly traded SBA, Inc. Currently to his tower activities, Dolan is Director of Southco, Inc., a one hundred and ten year global manufacturer of fasteners, hinges, and latching systems for industrial applications, with operations in 39 countries. Dolan is also a founding member and Director of the Sprague Group which provides consulting services to the insurance industry.

From 1993 to 1996, Dolan served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary of private radio broadcasting company Dame Media, Inc., where he oversaw finance, acquisitions, and real estate, as well as leasing of the company’s existing radio towers and construction of new towers. In 1996 Dame was sold to ClearChannel communications. Between 1986 and 1992, Dolan formed Storage Associates, LP and BKD Contracting, Inc. to develop and operate 2,000 units of mini-storage warehouse facilities. The units were sold in 1992 to publicly traded operator Public Storage, Inc.

David U. Lee

In 1997 to become a partner in managing ClearShot Communications and serves as its President and Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for finance and accounting, operational and financial agreements, and contracts. Lee is also a founding member and Director of the Sprague Group which provides consulting services to the insurance industry.

From 1996 to 1997, he held the role of CFO for American Tower Systems, Inc. (now ATC). Between 1987 and 1995, he was a principal with Pegasus Media & Communications and its predecessor companies and was involved in the acquisition and operation of broadcasting, cable, publishing, direct broadcast satellite, and wireless communications businesses. Lee founded Skyline Communications, LP, and served as its partner until its merger with American Tower in 1996. He created and managed Pegasus Towers, LP, a tower leasing company, from its inception in 1991.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in 1982, Lee earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1987.
